The halls of the Chennai Trade Centre echoed with the hum of innovation, curiosity, and collaboration from 6 to 8 March 2025. What unfolded was more than just a technology showcase—it was a dynamic convergence of ideas, people, and possibilities. Automation Expo South 2025 delivered a bold statement: the future of industrial automation is here, and it’s evolving faster than ever.

With a 59.88% growth in footfall year-on-year, over 15,988 visitors, and participation from 400+ companies, the event reaffirmed its role as Southern India’s leading platform for automation, AI, and robotics.

Leadership Inauguration

The expo was inaugurated by Mr. Simon Matthieson, Vice President & General Manager, EMEA – Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions, EATON, alongside Dr. M. Arokiaswamy, Managing Director of IED Communications Ltd. Their joint vision brought attention to the growing need for intelligent, integrated, and sustainable industrial solutions—setting the tone for what followed.

Innovation at Scale: Technology Showcase

The exhibition spanned more than 300 live demonstrations, organized across core innovation zones such as AI Integration, Robotics Hub, IIoT Pavilion, and Cybersecurity Center. These zones showcased predictive maintenance tools, adaptive next-gen robots, real-time data systems, and secure industrial control frameworks.

Dedicated zones like the Startup Innovation Arena, Machine Vision Center, and Valve Automation Showcase offered attendees the chance to explore deep technology in focused areas.
