Riding on success
Today, with its headquarters in Mumbai, IED Communications Ltd. offers the most sought-after publication – “Industrial Automation”, to a strong reader base in India and abroad encompassing topics on R&D labs, Testing Centres, Engineering Colleges, Manufacturing Companies, major dealers and distributors of Industrial products including Exporters.
Over the years, Dr M.Arokiaswamy became an integral part of several global industrial exhibitions and extensively toured the world from the Americas, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore and so on.
This recognition helped him build a strong rapport with delegates from other countries while interacting with them at various press conferences. Having travelled extensively and witnessed industrial exhibitions across the world, Arokiaswamy was determined to bring home a similar trade fair and make the country proud.
With this thought, the Automation Exhibition in the year 2002 with a modest number of 157 exhibitors at the Nehru Centre, Mumbai. Started as a biennial show the exhibition turned into an annual extravaganza in 2011 to meet the increasing needs of the industry.
